“All the amenities and communication from the staff”

“I consider it risky to venture away from the known chain hotels, but I struck gold with this one! This was a very unique stay. It resembles a motel but doors do open to an interior hall full of antiques. We were greeted by chickens as we came out in the morning. Beds are very comfy, with soft, fuzzy blankets like home. Rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is no breakfast, but fridge in the room and access to a microwave. Rooms are decorated with the type……

“Good email communication from the host Electronic lock on the door had low batteries so it would only manually lock from the inside so when we went out to eat, we knew our door would be unlocked. The shower pressure was poor and the hot water ran out pretty quickly the bed was below average The room temperature was unsteady and poorly regulated The history and the artifacts were really cool, as was the ambiance of the old hotel. “Grandma's cabin was a great little spot to stay the night for our little expedition to Stockton Lake! We were able to pull our boat through and charge it up overnight for a tournament Sunday morning. If you need a place to stay for a fishing tournament on Stockton Lake this is a great place to stay.”

“The cabin was clean and homey. It feels secluded but safe. Perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband but it would have worked with kids also. All the essentials were provided. We would enjoy coming back in different seasons to see the scenery changes. ”

“Very quiet and peaceful. The interior was clean and updated. Nice living room with 3 love seats, which I think are also pull-out beds? And there is a card table with sturdy comfortable chairs that can seat maybe 6 people. There is a small, but very nice kitchen. Two bathrooms, each attached to its own bathroom, with the bathrooms also having a second door opening to the living room for convenience. Beds were comfortable, but just note for guests who are bigger or have mobility issues, the beds……
