“Hideaway Bay is a great little spot. We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage itself was very clean and nice. The beach is quite rocky so you need shoes to walk around and for the water (especially for little kids). It was great to have access to loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar was delivered food and drinks right to you on the beach, I would suggest putting side tables with the beach furniture so people have a place to put their drink down. The fire at night was lovely, everyone gathered……

“The location is amazing! It has a panoramic view of the lake and the sound of the waves crashing is so relaxing. The beach area is nice and somewhat isolated. It’s an older home but has everything you need for nice stay. My only concern is the bathtub: I would caution anyone with stability issues against using it. The beds were rather comfortable, which in a rental is always a nice surprise. The TV options were great, my adult boys were happy with the variety of channels. If you’re looking to……

“We had a very nice week in a beautiful house. Be mindful not to cut through the back yard to get to the beach as you will end up in the neighbors driveway. We didn’t see the sign on the roadway as we cut through the backyard. The neighbor is not nice or forgiving! Everything else was great, Rita was very responsive to our questions.”

“Ice machine broken, had to go to neighboring hotel for ice. Young lady working the front desk was very nice but there was garbage all around the outside. The dresser drawers were ripped up, with front of drawer missing. It was conveniently located.”
