"I’ve stayed here several times and it continues to be my favorite hotel in Des Moines. Exceptional ambiance, comfort, and customer service. The complimentary breakfast and workout area is an additional plus. "
"I think this is a great place to stay and they are very interested in making sure your happy. It was refreshing to see purple go the extra mile these days"
"I'll start with the good. The location is the best thing about this property, the building and access to the skywalk is great. The room was clean uppon arrival. That's all when it comes to the good.
The bad? The internet was down for days, and I specifically chose this property for that access so I could work from this location. The internet being down wouldn't even have bothered me much if it wasnt for the fact that I had to spend three days calling and emailing over and over trying to get a response from the property manager, but all I got was AI automated responses that started the email with "Hello!" And literally nothing else. When I did get a response it was a text that asked if I entered the wifi password correctly, which of course I did. Vrbo wasn't even able to get through. Eventually it was fixed but honestly the fact that it took days to get a hold of someone for a simple issue was a red flag. From there? The furniture was awful. Cheap. The bed was just terrible. Thinnest/cheapest mattress possible, like laying on rocks made of cardboard. The couch was covered in stains, and also the cheapest, most uncomfortable thing. There were crumbs all over the floor. I don't really watch tv but if that's important for you, the tv was small and cheap. This location was nice but the place itself was an utter soulless cash grab, charging far more than it's worth. I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but I cannot in good conscious recommend anyone stay here. Get a hotel instead. "
"Hi there! I had a wonderful time in the room and got the much-needed rest I was looking for. The space was clean and minimalist(good thing). I do have a couple of suggestions: a coffee table would be a useful addition along with a wall clock, and it would be great if the rear entrance from the parking garage were more accessible. Also, I found navigating from the Star Trek spaceship walkways to the building a bit tricky. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again!"
"The room was very spacious. The bathroom was huge. Loved having a balcony to sit on in the morning. The neighborhood just smelled like weed. Parking was convenient but you have to pay for it."
Cozy 1-bedroom in the heart of Des Moines, walking distance to many places!
10/10 Excellent
"- Was able to find location without issue - Space was as shown and explainedPros: a few really nice electronic inclusions such as a motion activated trash can. Owner was very nice to work with. Cons: Could have used an extra towel and second roll of toilet paper "just in case". To be mindful of when booking: - A/C is a window unit- may make really hot days challenging.- Unit is next to a parking lot for a bar that is open *very* late. It may be very loud. Please look at ground level street view for further information. - You will not be able to park on the street nearby during the Farmer's Market operation. "
"This property was great! It was in a perfect location, close to many restaurants, bars and attractions. It was clean and well-stocked. Daniel, our host, was prompt with messages, and was a pleasure to deal with.I would definitely stay here again!"
"It worked out great. Perfect spot to be my family staying at the Hilton. It was spacious safe and had everything I needed. Easy check-in and checkout
Thank you"
"This was a wonderful place to stay for our three-generation family. So much to do within walking distance. At the same time, it was quiet in the house and we never heard any outside noise. Thanks for everything."
"Great place downtown in the R&T building. Easy walk to Iowa Cubs game and tons of restaurants/breweries nearby. Parking was a breeze and connected by skyway. Rooftop patio offered a peaceful evening spot to relax."
"We had a wonderful time at this downtown loft. We were close enough to walk to some classic Des Moines attractions: farmers market, Science Center, Wasabi Tao. The community room and exercise room were excellent! And our host was helpful and communicative. Perfect trip!"
