“We loved staying at the Luke Lure Inn. It's nothing fancy but sitting by the pool was very nice, even though the lake beach was closed. Be aware that each room has their own window AC unit- the property DOES NOT have central AC. We were okay with that but just wished they had had ceiling fans! Overall the property is a great value for the price.”

“Nice clean room. The private balcony had a great view and was really cool in the early morning but it was too hot to use the rest of the day while we were there...temps in the 90's. We love this area and had previously stayed at The Evening Shade a few times and next door at Carters Lodge. We were really sad that one is gone and the other boarded up. We were very happy to see what businesses were open and of coarse the view from the Chimney. If the weather had been a bit cooler our stay would……

“As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!”

This place is a horse enthusiast dream. The views are just espectacular from our room we could see the sunset over the mountains.”
