"The property was just as stated, had an issue getting into property but Amber fixed the issue fast. We had absolutely no issues other than what I mentioned and taht wasn't really an sisue just an oops, overall our spur of the moment weekend getaway was great dispite the rain when driving there. We will rent again, thanks for having us!"

"Perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. Our cottage was right on the beach and we were the only ones there with another couple a couple doors down. The cottage was the perfect size and judt as described. The bed was so comfortable, a rare find when vacationing. The beach and water were perfect with lots of other things to do within a reasonable distance. We will definitely be making future trips up to discover more of the area."

"We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. The only negative was road noise, but once I found the white noise maker and plugged it in, and found a setting we liked, we didn't notice the road noise as much. Our first night...

"Our family stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful big backyard. The view was just amazing & sunsets didnt disappoint. It was such a quite & relaxing place. The cottage was warm and very cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. (Super thankful for that! ) & our doggies loved their stay! "This truly was a cute little cottage and we absolutely loved all the special touches that were available to us. The Firefly cottage was adorable and so well put together. My mother in law lives local so it was a perfect place to allow our family to hang out together. "Our cabin was nice, simple and clean . Bedrooms nice, common area nice . Shower was a good one. John supplied the wood for indoor wood burning stove ( the source of heat for the cabin) . We needed to bring up our own wood for outdoor fire pit. We rented his pontoon for the day , easy to use .. super fun. Will be back ."

"Was not lighted very well. Was hard to find which cabin was yours. Wasnt told beforehand that a regular car would probably get stuck. Good thing we had a 4 wheel drive truck. Was a beautiful cabin. Have rented many cabins and houses over the years and have never had one that did not supply extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels. Even though i always clean up after renting i have never been told i had to vacuum, sweep and wipe down sinks, etc."

"When you arrive the outside appearance is simple & tidy. Upon entering you find an over the top clean home. The quality of the cleanliness & very new carpet gives the whole place a clean & fresh appearance. Kitchen is adequate with all new appliances. But it is small, especially the frig.
