“This was a unique opportunity for us and something we will definitely do again! The Marina was very quiet (we stayed Sunday through Thursday). It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the birds during the day and other wildlife (American Mink!) in the harbor at night. It was our first vacation in many years and being on the Irish Mist really took us away from our usual patterns. The surrounding area has much poverty, while right on the edge of the marina … food at the lakeside restaurants was just ok. No fresh catch options from the lake on any of the menus…So disappointing.
