“The hotel reached out prior to our arrival to ask if we had special requests. Communication was wonderful throughout the stay, with text messages offering housekeeping service when we still had our do not disturb light selected (no hanging paper signs on the doors here!) The linens were quite nice and crisp, and the selection of pillows was wonderful. I found the mattress a bit firm for my preference and they added a mattress topper. “We reserved a room with king bed. But we were assigned a room with 2 double beds. The staff said it’s because we made the reservation on third party app and there was no available king bed. But I remember the prices for king bed and double beds are different. The king bed was higher. And when we asked the front desk if we can switch to a king bed room after the first night should it be available, the staff said “it will be a busy weekend. Why do you guys want a king bed room??
