“All the amenities and communication from the staff”

“The shower curtain was a ripped up, hair in the tub, no Kleenex, blood stains on pillows the bed was hard as a rock and the room smelled of pine soul and musky. Also the dust along the walls was bad. The room definitely needs deep cleaning. Also the microwave had food splatter. I took pictures”

“Good email communication from the host Electronic lock on the door had low batteries so it would only manually lock from the inside so when we went out to eat, we knew our door would be unlocked. The shower pressure was poor and the hot water ran out pretty quickly the bed was below average The room temperature was unsteady and poorly regulated The history and the artifacts were really cool, as was the ambiance of the old hotel. “The cabin was clean and homey. It feels secluded but safe. Perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband but it would have worked with kids also. All the essentials were provided. We would enjoy coming back in different seasons to see the scenery changes. ”

It was December so we weren’t there for the water!”

“We had family camping at the state park for the long weekend and wanted to stay close by. The cabin was perfect. We had time to visit easily and also an air conditioned place to sleep in. It also is dog friendly so we were able to bring the dogs. Getting a dog sitter on a long weekend is difficult. ”

“Check in was easy, they let us get in 30 minutes early. As far as cleanliness it was ok, seen some dead bugs around the edge or the rooms. The front door had dog nose smudges all of the window. Idk if it was an air freshner but there was a strong smell, it wasnt a bad smell it was different though. My biggest issue was we had nobhot water for showers but that should be an easy fix as well. Overall good stay. Can tell its a newer rental in an older house with some needed improvements. The host……
