“The staff were friendly and helpful. The room I was assigned had problems with the air and it was extremely warm. I had to request a fan from the front desk which helped some but, it was still uncomfortable. Although conveniently located downtown the dining options are very limited on Sunday with majority of the restaurants within walking distance are closed as well as the hotel’s rooftop bar.”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, Staff says they don’t take online reservations, even though it was paid for, had to ask for a refund and during that process staff was shouting to the Expedia employee, felt unsafe during this incident, had to pay for a different hotel in the next town.”

“The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. There was a lot of space around the cottage that made it feel private, and a small space fenced in for our dogs. A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night from large trucks and...

“This was a diamond in the rough! We had a last minute trip to Hartsville and Coker College had their graduation at the same time so our normal place we stay was booked solid. We decided to give this location a try and we were very pleased. Excellent check in, very comfortable, very clean, beautiful lakeview. The amenities were just what we needed. We will consider this location the next visit we make to Hartsville.”

“This place is a very attractive and well decorated and equipped residence. Beds were comfortable and the master bath had a walk-in (actually ride-in) shower so it's well suited for anyone in a wheelchair or otherwise mobility impaired. Only real issue is the street number sign is too far off the road to be easily seen at night. If you really wanted to get away this place is perfect.”
