"We had a comfortable stay. This is not a 5 star motel and you won't find marble and tile except on the bathroom floor. Still it was reasonably modern, everything worked as it should. The only downer was that the carpets could stand some cleaning. Management was very helpful and courteous. "

"It was refreshing to sit on the porch morning and evening enjoying the atmosphere. My dog, as well loved our daily hikes. The convenience of the lake only 25 yards away suited my husband fishing. We will be returning next August. "

"Big shout out to maids cleaning. The hotel, hallways smelled great. Room were clean. Stayed couple days and room service was ready to clean when not needed. Grest path along creek to walk down adjacent to hotel. Very nice hotel to stay. Been there and the Hampton behind it. Great location. Could be bias because im planning to retire in area"

"The hotel was wonderful. The grounds are clean and well kept. The room was very clean, well decorated and ample room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a plus having the restaurant/bar on the premises. A favorite thing was the outside seating area. It was nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors/weather."

"There was no room service the second day we stayed. Had to ask for clean towels. They did not clean the room or replace used soaps. We arrived early about 2:30 the first day and they did allow us to register early and that was nice. very noisy on first floor from guest on second floor. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-kept and welcoming everything was. The house itself is adorable —clean, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The closed in patio was a major bonus as we could enjoy the beautiful weather without being bombarded by any bugs (I’m sure my hunting dogs would have had a nice meal out of some flying beetles anyways) In addition, the cabin had everything we needed, including a full kitchen that made it easy to cook meals and enjoy quality time with my parents.One of the highlights was the huge yard—our dogs were absolutely in heaven! They had so much space to run and play safely, which made the trip even more special for all of us.The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure we felt right at home throughout our stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. Even their neighbors had nothing but kind words to say about them. We can’t recommend this place enough and will be booking with them again in the near future."

"Me and my adult kids and 2 grands stayed here for our annual group trip. The cabin was very adequate for 8 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we could need. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of extra bedding and a variety of pillows which I appreciated since I’m picky and usually bring my own. The patio is huge with plenty of chairs and room outside. Our only wish is that it was covered more since the midday sun was hot. The lake is beautiful and it was easy to launch the paddle boards. Overall this is a great spot! "

"It was an older Holiday Inn than we’re used too, but it didn’t look run down. Hotel was still cute, clean and very quiet. The beds wasn’t the greatest, but it wasn’t horrible. Appreciated the clean sheets. Our room had ample space to fit 4 adults, a toddler, and a baby. Appreciate the complimentary roll-in bed & crib. Front desk and room service staff is very nice. Would stay here again!"
