Nice hotel, not quaint or Scottish, but nice. I am not sure if they used any insulation between rooms as we could hear the neighbors conversations quite well and the TV from about 4 rooms down.

We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. Great hotel. Well located esp if walking to Kelvingrove & to city center.

Convenient location allowed us to walk to all the attractions, shops, and endless dining options. The staff was friendly, the bartender was a super hard worker and great at his job, and the rooms were clean. The hotel locks the gate at night so you have to use your key to get in, which is a nice feature for safety. If you are a light sleeper, it might be too noisy for you. The lobby area has great spaces to lounge, read a book, or meet friends. The dining areas and food were excellent. My only gripe (small in nature) was that the shampoo was unusual in that it was in a tube and did not provide sufficient suds upon use.

This hotel is different from a traditional hotel. Modern yet not too out there. Lots of young folks around since part of the facility is also a student housing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Location is great too.

Amazing, quaint hotel that also still serves as the Royal Scots Club. Located in a more quiet part of New Town, yet only a few blocks away from St. Andrews Square, Princes Street & Stockbridge. Hotel atmosphere might be a bit too settled for families with small children or younger partygoers & clubberers, everyone else who is looking for a nice and quiet retreat from the hectic and tourist filled city and a friendly, personal staff should not get disappointed.

We’ve been to Scotland three times, and this is the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed! We were in Heaven. When Americans think of the Higjlands, this is what we envision.

Takes 3 minutes max to walk into Inverness airport terminal. EXTREMELY convenient for early flight and dropping off your rental car. I will use this airport and hotel as my departure/arrival point from now on if possible. Amazing mansion conversion into an event center and hotel. And there is even a lift to get you up to the top floor! Breakfast was generous and cooked to order. It was somewhat difficult for me to find using GPS. Needed to ask for help at the Tesco petrol station.

Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. We’ll maintained, the pool and saunas were fantastic! Highly recommend as it’s walkable and very convenient to all locations downtown. Tge bar was also excellent!!
