"This is a quaint and unique hotel and well maintained. Really like that the room had an actual key not a key card. Very nostalgic. There were several breakfast options with glass dinner plates and real silverware. Overall, very impressed with this hotel. Staff were very nice. Hotel was very clean and up to date."

"Hotel is comfortable, clean & just off I-70. Someone there thinks it’s a good idea to charge $14.00 to park in their parking lot. ( a service which is free at 90+ % of non- big city hotels). There is no free breakfast which is ok as their rates are modest. The parking fee is a money grab and has PISSED OFF many former regular customers. It’s bad policy and 2nd rate hospitality at a hotel that should know better. "

"This stay was a great value. There have clearly been quite a few imperfect repairs done to the prooerty, but the staff were taking very good care of what they have and were very friendly and helpful. The things that count were great--cleanliness, convenience, water pressure, breakfast options. The towels were of the "scratchy hotel" variety, but were of decent size. Since the refrigerator in the room had no freezer compartment I asked the staff if we could put our cooler packs in the kitchen...
