“Nice service and nice breakfast. ”

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The dining area had roaches crawling around, which was completely unacceptable and disgusting. The pool was ice cold with no heat working at all, making it unusable. The room itself was in terrible condition — broken drawers, ripped curtains, and it looked poorly maintained overall. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke even though the hotel advertises itself as non-smoking. To make matters worse, the so-called “free breakfast” was basically……

“Crown Inn was a nice low budget hotel. The room was clean and attractive, nice bathroom. It was quiet and in a good area, I felt safe there. The gentleman that checked us in was polite and efficient. And the price was reasonable.”

“This property is under new management and you can tell by all the recent 5 star reviews. The room was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Such a variety of foods to include eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, cereal and more. There was a bigger variety on the weekend, than the weekday, but still a big assortment. Staff was friendly and helpful. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the parking lot needs……

“The property is located in beautiful Williamsburg, on the Chesapeake. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condominium that was very spacious, clean and overall comfortable. There were 2 things that we had a problem with. The bed was uncomfortable, not the worse I have ever slept in but definitely not comfortable and my back hurt in the morning. Also it seems the shower leaked into the place underneath us. Other than those 2 issues it was good. I would recommend it for location and cleanliness. We did not……

“The hotel halls STUNK every time we came in and out of our room. Luckily it didn't come in the room... but it was terrible. The bed frames were an absolute joke. It rocked and wiggled and slid even when my 2 and 5 year olds would roll over in their sleep. By the end of the 2 days the beds were no where near where they had started when we checked in. There were only 2 sets of towels in our room for 4 people. The grout needs to be redone in the bathroom. Just not what I expected for a hotel……

“Overall the property it quite dated and over priced for what you get. They have made updates to what appears to be the Foyer and Conference Room areas. The rooms have a 80's vibe with the two double beds beng pretty small and the additional lounge chair taking up more room and not really serving a purpose. In my opinion remove the lounge chair and have 2 queens or a queen and a double. The cleanliness is ok to say the least, filter in the bathroom was full and looked like it had been for……

“Was told room is not available, hotel is booked and that Expedia made the mistake! We had to beg for a room that we had confirmed. We arrived around 9:15 pm and was told checking in had to be done at 4. Never heard you have to be there on a first come first serve basis to stay -plus it was a comfort inn not Quality Inn as stated in Expedia App. Half the building looks like water damage. The AC unit in room is horrible noise and you can’t adjust the Vent. ”
