"It was a good stay after a long day of flying"

"Check in was very easy and person at desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and lobby was clean and comfortable. The room was a nice size. It was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was offered nice and early for those with early flights. The options were good and the table area was clean and in good shape. The shuttle service to the airport was very nice. The driver was friendly and the shuttle runs pretty often. I’d definitely stay here again. "

"I have stayed at Getaway at least 10 times. It’s my favorite place to stay, sure it’s cheap, but wonderfully clean, quiet , perfectly located in the Lincoln park neighborhood and a great staff. I love it. I want it to succeed and always be open for me, but I want it to be a secret too. Haha. "

"Trash around the outside and surrounding blocks. Noisy on the street side during the day. Factory lot on the back lot."

"My significant other and I stayed over night for our first Blackhawks game (they won!). If you are on a tight budget like us, this place is perfect. We didnt spend a lot of time in the room but it was nice- appeared to have new paint and flooring. The bed was a little lumpy and pillows were a little too firm, this isnt a complaint just a heads up. I do not know if we could have requested other pillows but it was too late and we were exhausted after our adventure to mess with it. All the staff we encountered were helpful and kind. We did appreciate the extra level of security since you cant enter the building without a keycard/room key. "
