The only thing I didn’t like was at the bottom of the door at room 117, the weather stripping is totally off and just gathers on certain parts of the door. There was a heavy rain the other day and since the weather stripping isn’t on the bottom of the door properly , that rug inn front of the door was soaking wet from rain water coming in from under the door . I had to use 7 towels to sip up the excess rain water . So if any of the towels are……

“Avoid This Place As a Choice member, I expect better than this dump. From the second I pulled in, it was bad news. The parking lot was a cratered mess full of potholes and cracks. Half the sign was ripped off the building, so the whole place looked like it was falling apart. Walked in past some sketchy guy smoking out front who turned out to be an employee. The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk lady, who was genuinely nice and helpful. She deserves better than this place. On……

“Honestly for the price is not bad. The staff is nice, the rooms are okay, the bathrooms are the only thing I’m iffy about.”

“This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital...”

“The room had ants crawling around the desk and bed. When informing the front desk the morning we found them they said they would send someone to spray. Still found ants crawling even after they said they were going to spray.”
