"Great place to stay! "

"We love to stay at the Black Swan. The staff and guests are friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. Mint is one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever been to, we always eat there at least once during our visit and we talk about it when we are back home. The breakfast room has a lovely view of the lake, you can rent watercraft but we have not yet tried that. My husband especially loves the automatic coffee machine, it makes a great cappuccino. FYI the property is pet friendly, all of the pets we've ever encountered here were friendly and well behaved."

"Easy to check in and check out. The only small issue I had was that it was windy and the doors for the garbage outside kept swinging and make a bang noise when it opened and shut at night. "

"The staff was wonderful. The suite had everything that we needed and felt like home. I was there for a hiking trip and location was convenient and loved being able to relax in a jacuzzi afterwards. "

" I was really impressed with my room. Especially for the cost. Very spacious layout compared to a normal hotel room. I get that it may be a down time in terms of seasonal bookings for that area. However, it was a great place at a great value; even during a conference week (which is why I was there) at a resort right down the road. I would stay there again anytime."

"I would highly recommend the Yankee. The front desk person was kind and welcoming. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I was pleased to see how clean and cozy it was. The breakfast room was well stocked, and the pool was being enjoyed by families with children. I would definitely stay again. The property is on a main road with easy access to shopping . The only downside was the noisy heater. But I was warm!! Many thanks to all who work diligently to keep the Yankee a pleasant place for travelers. "
