Slipped 2 times with no regard nor attention to incidents more worried of me signing a waiver that they were not liable. Also outside animals woke us up several nights due to dishes not picked up by staff from other members room service dishes therefore animals while eating leftovers broke dishes.

Far exceeded my expectations. I planned on doing some swim training and this resort was perfect because of all the channels of water connecting endless beautiful pools. Fun for those not swimming too, to be able to wade around the water endlessly throughout the resort. We were impressed at how clean and well kept the resort was, the cleaning and maintenance staff were always seen working tirelessly, cleaning up rooms, common areas or even the beach. So many places to lounge around, endless beds, lounge chair and hammocks, absolutely all the staff friendly and helpful. It's true a lot of the beach is unusable but there are some nice spots as well, so definitely was able to take a dip. I loved the food/selection options and enjoyed the selection. This is the third all inclusive in Cancun I have been to but this is the one I would recommend for adults only.

This was our second time back. Wonderful service. Beautiful property. Lots of dining options. Pools are great. We chose El Dorado because we heard they were so good with food allergies. For someone with lots of allergies, it is hard to find an all-inclusive to meet my needs. Lots of options, even for me with gluten, nut, seafood, and a variety of random vegetable allergies. The chef even came out twice to let me know that he could not serve me what I ordered because of an ingredient in the sauce, and then helped me choose another option. We did the More Inclusive trip to Maroma Beach— wonderful. Two hours on a catamaran with snorkeling, access to an amazing buffet and a great bar, and one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen with powder soft white sand. A shuttle picked us up and brought us back. The only cost was the tips that we handed out to catamaran, waitstaff, and bartenders. This is the resort for you if you love great food from around the world and you also want to have authentic Mexican choices. This is not the place for you if you are looking for a Long John Silver or Golden Corral-quality buffets. This is a great resort if you worry about your food allergies and intolerances. This resort does not have much of a beach, so the pool is where you will mostly hang out. There are some small sections where you can get in the ocean. The staff works very hard to make your stay wonderful and we always make sure to tip well.

This resort is huge. Takes about 20 minutes to walk the beach from end to end. Good food options for each meal of the day. Fuentes was a unique experience we’ve never seen before at a resort like this, though the wine pairing at Fuentes did feel a bit upcharged. Solid drinks overall. The quality of food and drinks for an all inclusive was better than expected. I only wish there was an easier way (maybe a mobile app) to make dinner reservations (which were required), see menus ahead of time, and view the pool activities/itinerary for the day.

The weather was terrible except the day we left but overall we had an excellent stay. Property is nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Perfect if you looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. If you want a party vibe I would say stay elsewhere. I would definitely book here again!

Plan on getting up by 6am if you want a chair by the pool or beach. No floatation devices for guests (bought one in the gift shop $60). Also issues getting water (plastic water bottles) to drink. Food- needs improvement Room service- good

There were definitely highs and lows to staying at this resort - The good: For the most part the service at the restaurants and the food we're really great. We loved La Isla and Rincon Mexicano, Shayla and Luis provided excellent service. Lomas Travel helped us book a boat day that was stellar The not so good: The inefficiency in the reosrts processes and lack of hospitality to guest experience was crazy. We spent so much of our vacation at the reception and concierge desk scheduling basic services over and over because the resort made everything so difficult and nonsensical. Booking airport shuttles and spa services would require 3-4 visits to the desk to get set up and there would still almost always be confusion when we arrived. Communication between staff was poor. They tried to make guests with flights 7 hours apart take the same shuttle ot the airport, they charged spa services to the room after we had been several times to set up payment via a gift card prior to the appointment. It just wasn't a super relaxing experience to have to deal with all the administrative shortcomings and miscommunications amongst staff. The beach is also not as pictured - there are huge manmade cement blocks in the water and tons of brown algae and seaweed along the shoreline, it wasn't exactly run in and frolick water. We still made the best of our time but I will not be returning to this resort of any other Lomas.
