First I need to say that we had great time, and this is a great, if not the best vacation spot in Cancun area, however there are many small and easily fixable issues that I need to say. First thing is the dinner restaurants that you make reservations for are not worth the time, at all. The buffet they have is incredible, and is in contrast with the "reserveable" restaurants, that only offer very small menu and the food is not good at all. In many cases it is the same food that you get at the buffet, but with a very limited choices It is very plain and you don't have the buffet to dress it up. At one restaurant we were told we can only get 2 appetizers (for family of 8), another restaurant didn't serve us at all because we showed up late for the appointment, despite having many open tables. One restaurant gave me problems because their paper showed we only had reservation for 3 not 8, (they have concierge service to make those reservations). So do yourself a favor and skip the reservations and stick with buffet. We had few mechanical issues with the room that were fixed by maintenance right away, like leaking A/C unit, no light in hallway, and low battery in the safe. Beach bar is better organized at Del Mar, but with the Lindo pass you can use both, so that's not an issue. Staff is great, friendly but some customer service issues, perhaps due to language barriers. One example one day I cold get a lid for coffee next day I was told they don't have lids.
