Grounds are beautiful!!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Our air conditioning didn't work right in room and after 2 nights we had to change room where air didn't work at all!!!Finally they fixes it! But forgot to clean our room day before we left! Overall good experience! Their main asset- hard working people!!!

AWFUL!

The security was awful. We had boys on a senior year spring break trip and the security was watching every step they make and even took pictures of teen girls we know. One of them grabbed my sons arms really hard and accused him of giving a minor a drink, which was not true. Then they tried to lie about it, finally admitted that he did. I had to file a report with the manager. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS RESORT AGAIN!

This is our second time here. Service is top notch. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained and large enough to not feel crowded. The beach is beautiful and has a nice bar, snack, bar and activities. We played beach volleyball several days and had a blast. We’ve been to 6 different all inclusive resorts and what sets this apart is 1) service and 2) entertainment staff. The pool has such a fun, happy energy and the staff would get people involved in water fitness games, and competitions (only if you want to...they weren’t pushy). The rooms were great and the door to close off the bathroom/entry area to the bedroom cut down on any noise. I felt safe at all times. Food was good, restaurants excellent. If you’re deciding between the Maya or Lindo, go with the Maya. Yes, you use the same main pool, but the Maya has a beautiful lobby and Starbucks type of coffee shop. It was just a tad nicer. But the Lindo side was also great. One suggestion...take care of the staff. They are always smiling, saying holá, and bending over backwards for us. Bring a bunch of small bills and TIP THEM! They deserve it. We will be back. Thank you, Maya staff!
