Nice resort. Jim Beam needs to not be privileged.Posted Nov 27, 2015
Bad seaweed right now, better beaches south in Playa and Akumal.

Nice price, not so nice experiencePosted Nov 27, 2015
The hotel has a good location and the price for the all-inclusive package is very affordable. However the food, service and beach maintenance are disappointing.

Amazing hotel!Posted Nov 27, 2015
Great staff service food and facilities. Everyone was always helpful and friendly. Shows were awesome with a little for all ages! Food was fresh and tasty with tons of options and the 7 different resteraunts to chose from made our stay that much better! The Petit was my fav! Only complaint not enough Spanish music. Catered too much to the English speaking. When in Mexico I would have liked to hear more local music and more Spanish music in general! Other than that we will absolutely be back! Also book your excursions from Carlos on the beach he's half The price for the same tours and we had a blast going to Koba and Tulum! Best vacation so far!

Has become too popular, lowered standards.Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: The personal is still very helpfull and kind.
Cons: All the above.
This was the 4th time my wife and children have been to Ocean Corral in 5 years. It is a nice hotel, but unfortunately it has become victim to his own success. It is overcroweded (even in october and november!), and some infrastructure and room equipment are showing signs of wareness. For example, the shower only had hot water, the fridge did not work, the drawers did not close properly, etc. The food quality has gone south, worsening every year. The biggest disappointment is the seagrass that has completely invaded the beach, making it nearly impossible to swim. The water is now a dark brownish color, it smells bad and makes it dangerous to go into. This is was our last time to this not so paradiasical venue in Puerto Morelos.

Everyone got terribly illPosted Nov 24, 2015
While the resort was nice, over 10 of us became ill - 3 hospitalized. Not sure what caused it, maybe food or water brushing teeth.

Beautiful resort --bad beach from mother nature anPosted Nov 22, 2015
Pros: Pools, staff, service, alcohol, and room great!
Cons: STOP PITCHING ME!! High pressured and too long
Location: Only did excursions-- unsafe to leave resort I was told. Looked like Jurassic park with high electric fences and barbed wire surrounding it.
Beach was all sea weed with black or brown water, not swimable. Staff excellent and nice. Food was good covering all cultures. Everyone in our party was sick with vomiting and diarrhea at least 1-2 days. Everyone we met was sick for a day or 2--- travelers diarrhea it's called. We never drank the water or ate anything raw so watch out! The pitch--- we were pitched 3 times to buy in. Very pushy, ruined a whole day of vacation! Games in pools were fun-- foam pool party amazing!

Not what we had hoped forPosted Nov 21, 2015
In this hotel the grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly unfortunately the all inclusive is not really all inclusive there is an up charge for some meals and alcohol. The food was just okay 6 people in our party got sick and we were there for a wedding. The father of the bride and mother of the groom missed most of the reception due to GI issues. Sadly this is not a place I would look forward to returning to

Not a lot of activitiesPosted Nov 21, 2015
The hotel is pretty isolated from any city, always need a cab. So, hotel should have more activities to keep guest entertained. But, it was a wonderful and comfortable hotel, very quiet for the amount of people who where there.
