Overall, a great hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay and left feeling refreshed and energized. The architecture is in Spanish colonial style. Lush tropical plants everywhere. Very photogenic. We stayed at the Golden Swim-up Suit. Highly recommend if you prefer a relatively more quiet surroundings and easy access to the pool (literally just outside your door). Actually, the vast majority of the time, we simply hanged out on the lough chairs outside our door at the front terrace. When it gets too hot, we jump in the pool for a quick swim and then come back to take a nap LOL The staff is very friendly and the food was tasty. I recommend the grilled octopus in the Mexican resturant. Now the downside. 1) the hotel

As soon as you enter the resort you realize that it is a special place especially compared to others. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. We enjoyed the variety of cuisine at the various restaurants. We would select this resort if we travel to the area.

This was our best resort experience! The service was INCREDIBLE!! The food was amazing and all of the staff were so positive and helpful! They had great activities and the beach access was wonderful! Can’t wait to book our next trip! I miss the coffee shop already!

The Valentin is pure heaven! You are greeted with a glass of Champaign and a cool cloth for your face. The place is amazing.The grounds are beautiful . The room was great. The staff treat you like gold. The restaurants are excellent and the food is very tasty. The shows are very good and definitely worth seeing. The pool is fantastic with swim up bars and plenty of activities. Highly recommend andante wait to go back!

My wife and I visited for our 10 year anniversary. We liked the privacy of the property. It was very spread out. The pool was a fun atmosphere as well. The bars have top shelve alcohol available as well which was nice. The night life was fun as well with live music, dancing and several bar options to visit. The beach was less than stellar. Lots of seaweed not properly cleaned every day. And no where to relax unless you pay the upgrade premiums, which almost no one did. There were tons of spaces just vacant. Plus there was always men selling junk (and probably drugs) on the beach. Seems like a dumb business model to waste all that space. I was underwhelmed with the food as well. The beef tastes like fake soie meet and the chicken tasted canned. I don't eat much fish so maybe that's what everyone was raving about. The scheduling for the restaurants is off putting as well. There are 9 restaurants but only 2 open from 7am - 4pm. Then the others all open at 6pm. This leads to crowded areas everywhere and often you can't get in to the restaurants you want to try. I've been places where they do a split model, but not like this where it's all or none. It was frustrating trying to find somewhere to eat. Overall I thought the resort was nice. Better than several I've attended but not my favorite by far. For the price, especially for the upgraded rooms I think you can do better IMO.

The many options for activities, experiences and exploration. Wish the activities weren’t all at the same time. It was hard to pick where to go! Scavenger hunt would be fun. We made our own to find the chefs garden and find new places to go. Transportation was convenient for excursions and nice they were offered on site

First of all, everyone from the staff was OUTSTANDING. Very nice and friendly people. This place was very clean and quick with responding if we needed something! The food was delicious and the little cafe in the resort is perfect! One thing we were taken aback with was how much English music they play. I get that they cater to the major ethic group they have, but we were waiting for some Spanish music to start playing!! It’s okay though, we had our own little pool party in front of our room. We absolutely recommend this place and will return in the future ◡̈
