"I spent a great time with my family, including my two kids, at the Barceló Palace. After lots of research, this hotel was the perfect choice! The pools were clean, the food was amazing with plenty of variety, and the dinner restaurants were excellent. The beach had crystal-clear water and no seaweed, though not as blue as Cancún. Some open areas like the lobby lacked strong A/C, but it was manageable. Lots of shopping options inside the hotel made everything convenient."

"Awesome place to stay. It was my first time in an all inclusive and will definitely be back. The staff everywhere is super friendly. The concierge personnel are extreme helpful with booking your dinners and giving you all the info for the activities happening in the area. Extremely grateful for ours-Derek. Everyone will make sure we had everything we needed. All staff will acknowledge you as you pass by them. We were able to go to 4 different a la carte restaurants, all delicious. Our favorite one was La Cantina, we enjoyed the show they have. Also Casa Alma, next to the beach. The breeze you will feel there, so calming. The bars! WOW! The bartenders will have your next drink ready without you asking for them. Bartender Jorge at La Prana pool 100%. Delicious Drinks! A highly recommended place to go as a couple or as a family with kids since they also have a lot of activities for them and a pool playground. The spa. The hydrotherapy. Everything. Go for several days in order to be able to enjoy everything they have to offer. Don’t miss the shows, every night it’s a different one. "The atmosphere was very warm and inviting with a lobby area with lots of comfortable seating in a bohemian jungle style. The rooms were clean and had that similar natural bohemian style. "

"The A la Carte restaurant was great but the ability to go to them was not convenient. And the allowance should be adjusted to the number of days you stay. We went for a week and only had 3 allowance"

"It was a large and beautiful property. Everything is perfect about this resort. The seaweed is very bad right now. So the beach is not too enjoyable. The landscaping is very nice! The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was just okay. It’s pretty much the same stuff everyday with no flavor. But that’s at all resorts. The only thing we had issues with is the staff. No one seemed to be happy doing their job. You ask for something and they make faces, they act like you are bothering them. And, it wasn’t just one or two. It was at every meal we went to. And, we are tippers for everything. But the way they would respond, and have attitude. Made us not want to tip. So that’s definitely something mgmt needs to work on. The employees. I asked for two clean towels. The woman smacked her teeth and basically threw them at me. But other than that. Everything was great!"
