“It was a nice clean and new facility. We did have issues with their fancy TV. 85 and 87 year-old people do not know how to do some of those things involving black magic. Our big issue was the fact that Expedia never updated our reservation. I originally registered for the wrong date. The hotel could not change it because they said the reservation was made by Expedia. I knew nothing about Expedia. I thought I was dealing with the hotel. I paid the extra $103 to have them change my overnight date……

The brick walls were soundproof we didnt even know there were people staying next door. We made good use of tthe firepit. The location near Weko beach was pefect. “The property was in a quiet neighborhood about 6 min drive from New Buffalo. Our room was spacious and modern. The noise inside the hotel was a problem. The walls are very thin. We were on the ground floor and the family above us had small kids. They started running around at 6 am both mornings and it was extremely loud. Most hotels have soundproofing to avoid this. I’m not sure I’d stay again unless we were guaranteed a room on the 2nd floor. Charming place though.”

“We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. “We booked not thinking it would be so hot in the tent. The afternoon sun directly hit the front of tent which made the first part of the nights sleep almost unbearable. Mornings were pleasantly cool. The restrooms/shower rooms were a bit further than we anticipated from our tent. Not much to rave about for breakfast- little yogurt and berry cups and muffins of some sort. There were chickens and at least one rooster on property which made it fun for the children who stayed there. Plenty of room……
