Good stay overall. Staff were friendly and location although tucked behind was close to major roads. I thought breakfast was included, but it isn't, but it was a reasonable breskfast. Downside was only one elevator in the back and hard to find. Friends found leftover in their fridge, but overall ...
My husband and I stayed at The Grand River Hotel for two nights to explored the city and visited the west coast to see Lake Michigan. Had a wonderful stay. I read before going there that the hotel was recently rennovated. Good job, Grand River Hotel! The entrance, lounge, and restaurant all have ...
Blodgett Hospital no longer has rooms available for family members of their patients. This motel was next to the expressway and only a couple of exits from Cascade Road which goes direct to Blodgett Hospital. This was convenient for the family to get to and from the hospital plus with the many restaurants ...
Very nice hotel. Finding the hotel was a little tricky. Hotel was very modern and had all the extras you look for in a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful about where to go and getting around the city.
Nice place to stay. I would recommend it but local construction caused a little difficulty to find parking- a couple blocks away so not too bad. Front loading zone for hotel also used by supply trucks so was not able to have direct access for loading luggage.
I thought the room size was great and very comfortable. The only comment that I would make is that the bathroom had a smell to it. Similar to wet towels after a long weekend. Nothing a good bleach cleaning would take care of.
Easy check in and check out process. Clean room with refrigerator and nice glass shower. Microwave available in lobby for warming food. Continental breakfast was just average. We would stay here again!
diving tour of Michigan, headed up to M22. Loved Grand Rapids with vibrant downtown and nearby phenomenal Fredrick Meijer Gardens.
