"We reserved the Junior Suite on Hotels.com which stated two queen beds with a pull out couch. We checked in and the room they gave us had no pull out. They tried to charge us more stating that the Junior Suite on their website doesn't include a pull out couch bed. We were finally given a new room with a pull out couch and eventually tried to pull it out to make the bed and the couch bed was broken and the worker who came to the room couldn't fix it. We were unable to use the bed. We brought up the issue at checkout and the front desk spoke with the "manager" and they informed us that we could not get a discount even though we paid for the pull out couch and couldn't use. My husband stated his displeasure to the front desk worker who replied "Oh well". We enjoyed the hotel in the past but will look at different venue in the future. Front desk workers who were helpful and friendly were Jamie and Raven."

"LOVED it. We got the loft - it's totally worth springing for. Beautiful view, great place if you have kids, because they get the upper level and they loved having their own space. Nice deep and wide pool, great HOT hot tub, not too convenient access to the beach but that's okay. Such a great stay!"

"This is the type of motel people live in. Pulled in to no parking available but they're was broken down vehicles on the lot. Hot tub doesn't work, they don't tell you ahead of time which should be done, yet you still have to pay as if it was. Room was clean but outside there were people just loitering around and when I asked if it was where people lived the response was they can only 28 days. This place was terrible. The breakfast was just waffle mix and cereal and police cars were blocking both sides of the entrance to the lobby, they were there all morning in what seemed like dealing with people that lived there. This was ghetto and expedia was no help when I called after we left seeing I had been charged already after being told there would only be a hold on my card. I waited at the front desk, rang the little bell, and called and nobody came for me to pay cash for the room or talk to about how much of a let down it was."

"Check-in was slow, there is no airflow in the lodge itself. Very hot. I verified before leaving the desk I was a top floor room, they respond yes and I got to the room….bottom floor. Had to go back and get new room. The front desk person was VERY kind and polite. I got a new room. Problem is it was a VERY old room that desperately needs a refresh and smelled musty. It’s ok, slept with some windows open. Bed comfy, it was clean. At night, it was very quiet which was nice for sleep. Having said that, you can hear people up early rolling suitcases, their dogs barking, or people coming and going for a morning walk or hike. The restaurant staff was 50/50. Some of the staff was wonderful, responsive and helpful. Others were exactly the opposite. At times you couldn’t find a staff member for assistance. The food was good for two days. The last day it was not good at all and the menu misrepresented what we actually got with no explanation from staff. On our final day staff seemed more interested in turning dining room and rooms for new guests than servicing the ones still on property. The tour guide was informative, helpful and fun. We enjoyed the tour. Having said that, the tour was misrepresented as we were told by phone there would be a picnic lunch provided. That didn’t happen. The lodge does not provide enough photos or descriptions of rooms and accommodation before choosing a room. When you call you get a complete description and information. "
