“pretty spot on the river - dinner was closed and we got pushed out of bar and it was just before 9:00 on Saturday - sleepy town all food on Saturday in area seems to stop serving at 9:00”

There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. “This was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever encountered, the floor was sticky, the bedding smell. I couldn't even sleep in it, she seemed to be malfunctioning. It was either too hot or too cold, it was shampoo soap, and "boywash" in the shower that was hopefully mislabeled. It was incredibly noisy, and there were bugs crawling around in the room. I could go on my own, but I think you get the picture.”

“This is just the perfect place! The host is so welcoming and the place is the decorated so wonderful. Plenty of room and felt so cozy. One of the best parts was the use of the golf cart as I got to really immerse myself in the community. The cart can be used to drive the area and see stunning views, go to the restaurants/live music/drinks/karoke/pool, etc. The local people knew where I was staying because of the golf cart and I was welcomed in and treated like I belonged. “We have stayed in this home for several times. It is always clean and stocked with supplies. The owner always reaches out before and finds out who will be coming so he can get the names and put us on the ferry list. Vary accommodating.”

“This was the perfect place for us to spend our Christmas vacation. It is a clean home, well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and great outside porch. The beds were very comfortable. And it is very quiet. This is an easy walk to a corner store (closed for Christmas holidays) and bar (Yacht Club) with restaurant.
