“Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!”

We always stay at The Marshall House. It is conveniently located on Broughton, right in the heart of the historic district. The staffers are friendly, helpful and experienced. “We choose this location as it is close enough to walk to many places but also nice a quiet in the evenings. From entering the home we were greeted by our wonderful hostess Abigail, we found her to be friendly, polite and very accommodating with answering questions and providing information about the area. We would love to return and highly recommend for the price, location and service. Thank you”

“Did not care for the room. No real aesthetic. Not warm-feeling. Very stark. Felt dated and old. Nothing at all special or memorable. Loud noises coming at all times from all sides including the hail. The pool staff was less than attentive to say the least.”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”
