“The ,toilet didn't work properly. There was hair on the shower walls from the last guest that I had to rinse away. The HVAC unit was abundantly noisy. Bed was comfortable but I got a terrible nights sleep. Soap bar was the size of a half dollar. You couldn't get any lather on my wash cloth. All in all, not what I expected.”

“We had a great night here. We stayed after attending our grandson's 1st birthday party in Decatur. We and our other family from Chicago spent the night. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, utensils, bowls and even cooking tools should you need them. We loved the plastic children's cups and plates as well. I really appreciated the coffee, creamer and sugar provided!If you have your pet with you, there is a side by side food and water dish in the dining area……

We visit family in the area and it’s nice to come back to a nice, welcoming home as a family instead of having to disappear into separate hotel rooms for the night. Beth is always responsive and we’ve never had an issue with anything involved with staying there.”

“Excellent stay, clean place, clear and easy check in and check out process! We loved the spacious cabin, the option for games, in addition to a grill and fire pit with all amenities provided! Anything you need just ask the hosts and they’re happy to help! They brought us over a skewer to roast marshmallows with without us even noticing. Great quiet secluded location for a get away from the city! Thanks for a lovely evening! ”
