“This was our second time staying here and we stayed for a full week. Fully enjoyed the time away from home. I did a lot of fishing and my wife did some crafting. Enjoyed a fire down by the lake with roasted hotdogs and s'mores. Grilled for dinner a couple of times also. Other nights we brought pre-prepared meals. It's a great getaway out away from the cities. Be prepared to relaxed and enjoy!”

“nice property would stay there again”

“Our family loved this place! Definitely tucked away in nature/farm country which was lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and serving meals. House was very clean. The house felt very spacious and comfortable, plenty of places to spread out but still felt cozy at the same time. Kids really enjoyed the game room, as well as exploring the pond, catching tadpoles, and fishing. Yard and pond were beautiful! Kayaking was so fun as well, and hot tub was so relaxing! Great place to stay!”

“This place was absolutely beautiful! The home is wonderfully restored and shows the history of the property. The lake was excellent for kayaking and fishing. We saw deer near the lake in the evenings. The home is also well stocked with everything you will need for your stay.”

“Great AC unit in the room!”

“The cabin was overrun with mice. Within an hour of being there we saw mice run out of the room and back in. The hot tub was filled right before we arrived so it was 70 degrees. The sauna doesnt operate properly. Then when going to bed we realized the pillows and sheets were covered in mouse feces. We left and drove home at 10 pm first night. VRBO wont refund us so watch out everyone. What a scam. ”

“Wonderful stay! Excellent communication, clean and well stock with essential items. Very beautiful older country home with charm. Hope to visit again”

“Dianna, the host, is so nice. She communicated very well, and she went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as it could be. Our check-in was very straightforward. We stayed there for a night to rest on our way to TN, and we will for sure do it again.”

“We needed a 1 night stay, got in late. Great house and it was clean. The only comment I would say and they are very minor is, there was no light outside and it was very dark. Also, the rug at the front door both inside and out, had no grip so we slid around a bit.”

“This place is a cozy, charming, clean, close to everything we wanted to see in Paducah place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The host is very responsive and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would stay here again.”

“The house was nice, clean and spacious. If I had any questions the host responded in a timely manner. It is not too far from Shawnee National Park and trails and Paduka, Ky.”
