"Terrific location in North End Tacoma. Gathered with 3 friends to spend an evening preparing food and visiting. Kitchen met our needs to prepare a nice meal. Lots of choices to watch movies on the large screen TV. One of us made use of the hot tub. Enjoyable under the winter sky, and the owners were respectable for the use of this shared space. The beds were super comfortable and the shower in the bathroom has a nice, wide rain shower head. Thank you for the cozy stay!"

"The property was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for a relaxing vacation. It is a swimmers paradise! Laurie and Jay were ideal hosts who were always ready to offer help and suggestions. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We appreciate their thoughtfulness and generous hospitality. This property is conveniently located 7 miles from Belfair where you can purchase everything you need. The ferry to Seattle is 20 minutes away. It was a great vacation!"

Although we were unable to get a scenic view room since they were already booked, our room was a perfect cozy spot, especially being street level and no lugging our luggage up or downstairs. The home had a lot going for it: great location on the lake, pool table, kayaks and canoes, and a reasonable price for a large family. "Reasonable value but room is basic, dated old furniture, smells like smoke, carpet dirty, breakfast good, train runs right next door, lighting bad, bedding and bed clean, gas station lights annoying, good fridge and microwave."
