“The room was cold and the staff had to bring a space heater to heat the room. But the staff was very attentive and tried to please us anyway she could. The door didn't fit properly and you could see sunlight through the bottom of it. Also, there was no chair to sit in to read, no dresser, limited outlets for someone who needs to use a CPAP and other electrical equipment. The attendant had to bring in a floor outlet to plug in a space heater...There was no phone in the room if needed...On the……

“We arrived after check-in and our door code wouldn't work. Had to call emergency #, they were helpful and got us into another room. Room was clean & pool was well maintained *”

“I love this place the pool was clean. The only thing that need a little help is the tavern there a laid there who been there for 15 year she said need a little help paying attention to her customers she take a long time to get orders and drinks. When u look out the windows u see so much even these bird.”

“Positioned at the base of Long Lake this period lodge offers upstairs simple double bed rooms with fàsn, clean linens and hot water showers. Just enough to refresh from long days of summer or winter outdoor activities. A large porch for viewing lake. A well stocked bar & a separately billed steak & simple fare restaurant. Lots of sesting Game rooms for family & friends. Helpful wait staff. But no other lodge assistance. Welcomes families.Off road parking.”

“Breakfast was Delicious on day one but no one in the dining room at 7 on day two. I had to leave and was disappointed. I returned just after ten and everything was put away. But a kind kitchen staff gave me a slice of quiche right out of the oven. It saved the day for me. Conveniently located just outside the city limits and very nice views of the River. Spacious room. Bathroom fixtures need replacing.”

“Unfortunately we were in the bottom floor. The staff were apologetic but the lower floor is not nice - smells moldy, carpet feels wet, etc. I would stay there again provided I wasn’t on the lower floor.”

“Convenient to Clarkson”

“The room was very clean and in good condition. I would not stay here again, however. No microwave to heat up a cup of coffee, only one three-pronged outlet. A very small fan that made an unpleasant sound (no air conditioning - which is fine with me, but would have liked a better fan). I did get a good night sleep once I mentally tuned out the whine of the fan. My biggest complaint was that they did not give me the type of room I reserved. I might have complained, but the staff had already……

“Great location by the river and the room we had was big and very well maintained. We had to check in at the sister hotel about a mile away but this was quick and efficient. Recommended !”

“Everything was clean and tidy. It’s definitely a no frills hotel the continental breakfast consisted of Walmart breakfast bars coffee banana and a few pre packaged donuts.”

“No coffee in the room is an inconvenience. The desk seems empty at most times and I feel the hotel is essentially self serve.”
