The only concern is to be aware of the stairs waI would recommend for anyone who wants to be on the lake and in a forest setting. Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too. “Our visit to The Painted Porch was fantastic. The home, neighborhood and time of year made for a perfect getaway with our dogs. We enjoyed the historic nature of the property, and appreciated that it was well appointed, maintained, clean and comfortable for modern life.
