“We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 4 years, the maintenance on the hotel has not been kept up, room door sticking does not close well, lights in room not working, and stuffy smell throughout the first floor. There was several dehumidifiers running. The breakfast was exactly the same for 3 days in a row. The staff were outstanding, they work very hard to make a pleasant stay for what they are given to work with. The owner needs to listen to staff and upgrade the facility”

“The home was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet and the opportunity to relax. The option to use kayaks was also very fun. The main reason I wouldn’t give this a 5 star rating is because of the long dirt road with potholes we had to drive to get there. Otherwise, a great stay. ”

“Our hosts were very accommodating from the time we arrived, while we were there, and after we left. The breakfast was an added bonus, and the beautiful country setting was just what we were looking for. Located nearby all of the local springs, hiking trails, parks, and hearing the wolves howl from the nearby sanctuary were amazing to here at night while we were enjoying the hot tub. We’ll definitely be back the next time we head up that way. Karla and I really enjoyed Chocolate’s hospitality!”
