"We rented the house to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday with a small family vacation and it was perfect! We were able to bring my mom's dog and the four of us had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was great and is in a great location. The view is even better in person!! The only issue was that the heat was on 55 when we arrived so it took a few hours for the house to warm up - but it did no problem and the electric fireplace helped a bunch! I highly recommend staying here."

"Grandmas cottage was just as described and really felt like visiting with grandma. The location was superb with an easy access to the trail into town. The views of the water from the porch were astounding. Overall a great stay and will definitely try to be back during the warmer months."

"I enjoyed having this camp for a week. My family lives in Limerick Maine. I live in California so I had a place for them to come hangout with me. The lake is nice people are respectful. I would say what others have previously mentioned that maybe Mr. Carroll might hire a professional cleaning company to help out. I slept on the Queen bed and it was comfortable. I am grateful to have stayed at this camp."

"We spent a lovely restful week at the cottage. It was a great to have the water just steps away, and the available kayaks are a definite bonus! Such a calm, peaceful lake to paddle around on, just big enough with no fear of getting lost. The house had everything we needed and then some, and Scott was a wonderful host, very responsive and made us feel very welcome! Thank you!!"

"The grounds are beautiful. Pools and playground kept very clean. The property around the cottage was over grown and not kept that great. Bathroom and kitchen sink did not seem to be cleaned. Overall I would recommend this facility but would not rent this cottage again."

"We had a great time! Swimming, paddle boards and kayaking! Grilled out dinners! This property provides everything! Tablecloth for picnic table, all kitchen supplies, grill supplies, and the list goes on! The nights got cool which was good. There are only 2 a/c’s in the house. Not only is this house dog friendly, but they provided dog bowls and an outdoor leash! My kids are 19, 17 and 7 and each one of them had a blast!"

"We just got back from a three night stay, the place was very clean, the location is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back. The only problem we had was that the trash barrels were already full from the previous renters. I don’t like to complain so I waited a day or so figuring they would come empty them. No one ever showed up so eventually I had to call the number they tell you to. I spoke with them, they had me send them a picture of the full trash barrels. They said they would take...

"This is a newly renovated and well-appointed property that sits on the lakeshore. There are stunning views and you can launch the kayaks from your own beach. The property was clean and well equipped. Located within striking distance of Portland. Very enjoyable."

"The unit we stayed at was well kept. Feels new. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds were the best part, very comfortable. We had 1 full bath and 1/2 bath that were clean with tons of clean towels and quality brand Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Maine.
