"What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Rock Creek Cottage. It is a little further outside of the Baylor/Magnolia bubble than we thought it would be, but we were thankful for a cozy, comfortable and quite stay during the hustle and bustle of graduation. We appreciated the goodies and are always relieved to find a well stocked coffee station."

"Rough start, the code had been changed by the manager, but the door was left unlocked, so we initially got right in. When we locked the door and then came back to the property, suddenly we were locked out. It was after dinner and late in the evening. We had to try and get ahold of the host, which took about 1.5 hours. Ultimately, we were given the new code and they brought us a lovely gift basket the next day as an apology. We appreciated the gift basket and understand how the problem happened....

"Clean, quiet, thoughtful accommodations. Wooded property makes for private enjoyment - hosts provides for numerous outdoor activities with games, swings, & outdoor tables at nice outdoor sites, as well as hiking paths to enjoy and canoeing on the lake was superb! A great opportunity when a respite is sorely needed!"

"Really liked staying here! Beds very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms stocked with essentials. Property is wooded and peaceful. One suggestion though - please put window coverings in bedrooms and front room."
