“The small house was perfect for my wife and I when visiting relatives in the area. We utilized the kitchen every morning and slept comfortably. The loft at the top of the metal spiral staircase in the kitchen looks like it would be lots of fun for kids, but we did not use it. We also did not use the garage (manual open/close) or the side yard with fire pit (which had wood available for cash purchase). The tree covered slope in back gives a sense of privacy. “Cute, cozy cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor space for entertaining or relaxing by the lake and fire. Note that there’s no TV. WiFi was good for us. Lots of windows to let natural light in. We had a good time and will certainly be back!”

“Bring your fishing poles! You'll be right on Pigeon River and it's glorious. A cute little 2 BR 1 BA house, completely renovated, all the necessities. The only thing I needed was a plastic food storage container and some zip lock baggies - other than that you're good to go! We especially liked the alarm clocks in both bedrooms that include a phone charging dock. My friend forgot his charging cord and was going to have to buy another one but the charging dock saved the day and a few extra bucks.”

“This conveniently-located tiny house had a lot of natural light, was immaculately clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked with kitchen utensils and had a decent-sized refrigerator (with freezer) for a short stay. Parking was much more convenient than a hotel and it was definitely quieter. Loft is definitely a kids-only space. While the shower had hot water and good pressure in the evening, we had no hot water from the sink faucets the following morning. The beds were incredibly soft making it……

“The only thing I would consider changing is check in time… 5pm is a bit late especially when check out is 10 am. I understand having to get it cleaned for the next renters but that seems excessive. ”

“This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.”
