“Our stay at the Captain's Cottage was absolutely magical and the perfect experience for a holiday trip. The cottage itself was incredibly festive and cozy, and we were delighted by how beautifully decorated for the holiday season it was upon our arrival. “This stay was private and comfortable. Checking in was easy with an electronic lock and the host was very communicative with my questions. 2 things to note are that the walls are thin between this unit and the main house so you can indistinctly hear each other, and the mattress is quite hard, but I know some people prefer that. The bathroom is modern and clean and overall everything was easy. ”

“Great studio apartment for a couples stay, we stayed 4 nights. Unit was as described in the posting. Nothing fancy, but has all you need. Short walk to Grand Central Station and from there you can take the subway anywhere. Very walkable area that we felt safe at all hours. The only con would be the last minute check in instructions that arrived day of around 1:30. Overall would stay again. ”
