"My husband and I stayed at the cottage for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The view is hands down the best part. The hot tub is so relaxing and the privacy is perfect. We listened to the waves and birds as we enjoyed the deck area. We will probably bring our own pillows next time because these were quite flat, but nothing to stop me from coming back!"

Had visits from seals, ospreys & at a respectable distance, a skunk. Great directions for a tricky location to find. Morning treats from Stewart Point only 2 miles away."

"The cabin was very comfortable and very rustic. It was further off the beaten path than we were expecting but the privacy was wonderful. We were gifted with fresh coffee beans and delicious bread/pastry through our whole stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Definitely worth the drive."

"We spent our last three winters heading out to California’s Wine country. We have stayed at quite a few places, and this was by far our favorite. It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. Sitting on the patio after enjoying one of the nearby hikes, having a glass of wine looking out over the vineyards and the mountains was amazing. Our hosts were just as amazing as the views. "We have loved coming to Stoney House the last several years. We have always been comfortable in the house and happy with its amenities. This year there were a few issues on arrival. All of the Adirondack chairs were either broken or off the cliff. Bottlecaps and tin foil all over the yard. The master bath door has fallen off the hinge. There was dog urine on the master bedroom curtain (We washed the curtain and rehung it) It was windy and stormy and water leaked through the upstairs slider doors...
