“Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in during the evening when the hotel was not busy, yet we still had to wait several minutes because the front desk receptionist (I believe her name was Debby) was apparently at the gas station on the corner. During that time, the hotel entrance and desk were left completely unattended, which felt unsafe and unprofessional.
Although this is advertised as a smoke-free property, the receptionist was smoking behind the counter, and……

“Had a good stay at the La Quinta Inn in Batavia. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really liked the bed. The location worked well for me since it was about an hour from Niagara Falls and around 30 minutes from Rochester where I attended a graduation.
Breakfast was decent — the usual bagels, eggs, juice, fruit, etc. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and good. Also convenient area with coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

“I asked for a quiet room and the gentleman at the front desk searched diligently to find one. I practically had a wing to myself. Thank you. The pool is small but fits the bill for young kids to play in. The exercise room has what you need: an elliptical, a treadmill, and dumbbells.
