I stayed here by myself for 10 nights in Jan 2023 for a dive trip, from Canada. The property was safe, beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The staff were fantastic, all of them. It's a small beach area but having boardwalk/bars/pools on either side of it helped people spread out so it didn't feel too crowded.
There were a couple things that were different from previous reviews I'd read, so I'll correct those. The gym is not an extra cost, it is open 7am-9am to all on a drop-in basis. However, it has a small amount of equipment and is not air conditioned, so plan accordingly.
The specialty restaurants do not require or take reservations; walk-in only. They had line ups every night and though I never ate at them, people I talked to had good things to say. Especially the Italian place. My eating was on-the-go between dive boats and the buffet served my needs just fine. I never got sick in any way from the food.
Note, there is no club at this resort and the pool bars close around 6pm. There's still a bar open after, but it's not a late-night party resort. There is entertainment in the lobby area regularly, which ends by 11pm.
It is not a close walk to town, unlike I thought. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to the main part of town, so I took taxis most of the time.
I would stay here again as it very much served the purpose of this particular trip!
