" The Lodge has had a major renovation so the material condition of the entire facility was like new. Off-season and mid-week, it was very quiet. Minimal staff was pleasant and efficient. Did not visit the casino. No dining facility in the Lodge. Convenient to restaurants."

"This large house easily accommodated the ten of us (five couples). The kitchen was large and spacious, and nobody got in each other's way when we were getting our coffee or snacks. We were only there for a weekend but enough time to get settled in where we didn't want to leave. On both nights we used the outdoor fire pits (one by the water and one in front of the house). Overall, it was a nice stay and would rent again in the future."

"I loved the old fashioned decor and the place was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice and there was flexibility within a time frame for when to be served. Just a heads up, there was a small sink in the room but the bathroom and shower was per floor and there was no TV if those are priorities for you. We didn't mind at all but others may find those two things a bit of a put off."
