“We really enjoyed all the renovations to this location— so happy that someone has finally invested in sprucing up accommodations in the UP. Every year we come through this area and have always had to put up with dumpy accommodations because there is nothing nice to pick from. So BRAVO to the Manistique Sands!”

“We only stayed 1 night but I wouldn't stay here again. There wasn't any hot water at night or in the morning. We had to use a washcloth between the light switch and the wall to keep the light on in the bathroom.The online pictures are deceiving because they show a microwave and mini fridge in the rooms but there wasn't any in the room. One good thing was easy check-in and checkout. They give you a code to enter to get into the room.”

“Heavy mosquito problem especially at night. Also they have an ant problem in the bathroom. Can only access regular tv & no other apps. Store next to it is way over priced. Other than that it’s ok.”

“This place was perfect to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday with her friends. The house is extremely clean and very well decorated for the UP the host of the house was extremely understanding to me overlooking some things during booking and very accommodating. She even left some birthday stuff for my daughter, and even thinks of the pups if you’re bringing one, which was a very sweet touch. The location was great for pictured rocks. Secluded, but not too far from town. Quiet and cozy....
