“We felt uncomfortable the minute we walked into Prescott House. The neighborhood coming up to the property is run down. The grounds are messy and the entrance is filthy. The basement with the kitchen has a bad smell to it. We found our room uninviting and the photos deceptive. We realized that I made a mistake booking Prescott House and decided to forfeit three prepaid nights just so we could get out of there. Later we requested a partial refund for two nights and they were unwilling to……

“No staff. Had to get our key from a lock box. Finally got in to discover just a sheet on the beds. No blankets or covers whatsoever. The tv didnt work either. Total disaster. We didnt stay. Drove 2 hours to get home.”

“A very cozy cabin in the Adirondacks with a fully stocked kitchen. We were unsure based off the pictures so we came prepared and were very happy to see it has everything we needed. Easy walk into downtown Saranac. We also got the chance to meet the host who was very nice and gave us the history of the cabin. The sauna was an added bonus. We fully plan on booking the place for a trip in the future during a different season. Thank you for the hospitality.”
