“Great stay for the weekend. Our room was clean and very comfortable. There is no bath tub, only a step-in shower, which must have just recently been updated because the trim was not finished on the floor. The shower curtain or rod seemed too high because the curtain would not stay in the step-in shower, which left water all over the floor and in the groove where the trim was missing. The basement with the kitchen has a bad smell to it. We found our room uninviting and the photos deceptive. We realized that I made a mistake booking Prescott House and decided to forfeit three prepaid nights just so we could get out of there. “A very cozy cabin in the Adirondacks with a fully stocked kitchen. We were unsure based off the pictures so we came prepared and were very happy to see it has everything we needed. Easy walk into downtown Saranac. We also got the chance to meet the host who was very nice and gave us the history of the cabin. The sauna was an added bonus. We fully plan on booking the place for a trip in the future during a different season. Thank you for the hospitality.”
