I liked that it was an old property and was very well kept up. I liked that bath products and linen were unscented and or very mild naturally scented in instance of body wash and conditioner. I liked that the breakfast offered many minimally processed choices.

I so enjoy staying at Red Lion Inn and Suites. The staff is always friendly. The room are always clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for? Oh…and there’s a restaurant and it’s on a walking trail!

Enjoyed 3 night stay. Good sized room, with kitchen. Good buffet breakfast. Clean. We did not have a car so loved that we could just walk over to the harbor. Walking distance to many restaurants.
Just round the corner to the Royal BC Museum, Provincial Legislature, harbor walkway, Empress Hotel for afternoon tea.
Easy to walk into downtown and I am 79 years old

We had an amazing time at this location! It was super clean, very close to shopping and dining and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever we had any questions or needed extra room items, they were kind and helpful with quick service.
The hotel itself is a 2 min walk from Chinatown and 2 blocks away from the water. We didn’t have a rental car but we really didn’t need it. It is about a 20 min walk from the Empress, but it’s a downhill walk so it wasn’t bad. The front desk can...
