Pros: rooms get to be cleaned everyday without asking, Kids club team were very nice and caring, and coffee in the room was great. Cons: only two nights out of five they had night show, other nights we were sleeping by 9 since there was nothing to do! Main buffet was only open for breakfast and closed all week for lunch and dinner, while they provided lunch at one restaurant like a mini buffet but plates gets empty quickly. Dinner you have to make a reservation and if you don’t like the food you got stuck no buffet to grab and go at night! Overall nice quiet relaxing resort with very close beach and nice waves!

The resort is beautiful. Food and food staff are pretty good. Housekeeping was fine. BUT The playground was roped off with caution tape all but the last day of our stay. The front desk is mean if you book third party and not with Hilton. I was not given the room I paid for. When moved to the family area I was then given a nature view of a dumpster and raccoons. I had to pay for an upgrade not to open my balcony to literally trash strewn about. Then the hot water was cold the first and the last day of our stay. The middle of the week it was so hot my children and I couldn’t shower. There are no amenities for children in the family rooms not even a bathtub. It’s just by the children’s pool. It’s also the furthest from the lobby and the restaurants so you have to wait for a shuttle and it’s not the safest option with small children. And the beach is not swimable and doesn’t look like the photos. I’m completely disappointed in our experience especially for the price we paid. My mother also slipped and fell at the pool. She will most likely need surgery. The front desk didn’t care and wouldn’t even put a note in the system. I complained the next day about how dangerous is was again and they just put up an additional caution when wet sign. The resort was not full when we were there why anyone would put guests in a garage view room when the resort was not at capacity is beyond me. I don’t know who is running this hotel but they are asleep at the wheel.

Absolutely stunning. The staff was awesome and made for a fantastic experience overall. Directions for meals throughout the resort could have been clearer though. You kind of have to figure out where restaurants are by asking around. No clear maps or directions easily available

The property is beautiful and has a lot of options regarding restaurants and pools. However the staff really needs better training, mainly the people working at the buffets. A lady named Angelica that works making the pancakes/waffles at Vela Norte was extremely rude. I told her good morning and she completely ignored me, when i said how was she she responded “pues Aqui trabajando.” The next day i saw her again and greeted her again bc maybe she had a bad day…well she looked up at me and didn’t respond just continued making the pancakes. I also had a bad experience with the buffet in Vela Sur. The guy making the hamburgers left my hamburger RAW and i didn’t bother to go back since he had an unfriendly attitude when i asked for it in the first place. Other than that, the cleaning staff was amazing as well as the bus boys, and servers at the restaurants.

Hotel is clean and aesthetically pleasing however the rooms are distributed/separated in sections in what they call “casas” 1 to 6. The dining, store and food options are available only at the main lobby and to get there you have to wait for staff to pick you up and transport you to and from or you can walk but is quite a distance especially if you’re staying at casa 3 a 6. This was inconvenient since they don’t pass as often as they say at check-in. The food is also not great. Food from the locals is much better. Could definitely do better.

The views of the gulf coast, the beaches, and the resort landscapes are incredible! Most reservation required restaurants were not very good. The Hibachi show and food was great! The staff were all very kind and helpful.

Not much beach section to relax on, but the pool is nice. No swim up bar, though. Property is massive so it takes a while to wait for the cart to get around. Food is is better than most all inclusive, however both myself and my daughter vomited all night the last evening after eating dinner at the Asian restaurant. No way to tell it was the food but her and I were the only ones that ate the tuna sushi and were the only ones super I’ll. Nice staff.

The food was delicious! Especially the burgers, chips and guacamole. Margaritas were good also. The staff was attentive and room service was efficient. I will be back soon!!

Well let me say this was the absolute best hotel stay ever!!!! I enjoyed this resort from start to finish! If in Tulum again , I will stay here !!! The staff is great , good food , safe and a lot to do!!!
