The check-in did not go well, as we got downgraded for the first night. The One Bedroom King Suite that we had booked was not available so we were given a Queen Suite instead. The hotel employee told us it was not a downgrade as it was on the 23th floor (good view) as opposed to the King Suite (15th ...
Great, clean and comfy room. To be right in the heart of the city. A short walk for morning coffee and the Shake Shack for a quick lunch!! Dinner places are endless. Shopping, shows and entertainment are all within a short walk. We stay here every chance we get!!
Nice boutique Hotel in a great locations 2 blocks from central park and across from Lincoln Center. Awesome staff. We were in the city for a photo shoot with a dog and the dog was delayed in the flight in and the staff was all cheering for the dog when it arrived. A bit expensive on the room options ...
The Milburn is an old hotel with much charm. The staff was wonderful! They were friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing some renovations to update the rooms and enlarge the bathrooms. The reno will make a lovely old hotel even better.
This was our second stay in New York and I can honestly say, we could not have picked a more lovely hotel. It is situated in The Upper West Side, opposite a park, 2 minutes from Central Park and 1 minute from The Natural History Museum. From our room which overlooked the park,we could see The Empire ...
when we arrived at our room, we had purchased a deluxe queen room and they gave us a standard double bed, however when I went back to the front desk they put us in the room that we had purchased which was just fine. The bed was very comfortable great pillows and we had a pleasant stay, until morning, ...
My mom and I stayed here for a night so I could go to a cafe Tacvba concert. Room was neat although last guest was a pig and left garbage in the nightstand drawer and cleaning person didn't see that. But overall it was great, the bathroom was not in suite but it was very clean.
Very quiet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room is no larger than a large master bedroom. Bed was uncomfortable due to platform and no box spring. Tile floors a big plus so you're not walking on dirty carpet. Good for someone with allergies like myself. I would stay here again.
really good location especially for ny marathon finish there was no breakfast but we had our own kitchen and was a nice place very homely , and the manager was always there and give us lots of advise he was so friendy and we will go back to stay for sure
Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so you have to be prepared for a lot of stairs. Hotel is very basic; do not expect any frills or extras but a good deal if you want a budget-friendly room.
For what you pay, the hotel is good! Location is nice, uptown in a quite neighbourhood, 15 mins walk to Central Park. 20mins subway to Manhattan. Rooms are what you'd expect from a Hostel setting. Bathrooms are shared but clean.
Everyone in the room was nice. Clean bathrooms. Very hot in the room. The AC was so loud no one could sleep so we kept it off. Other than that is was great.
The Morningside is a budget hotel in a dilapidated old building, and if you can't handle that then spend another 100 bucks a nite and go somewhere else. I really liked the place and the staff were just fine by me, New Yorkers. The location is fantastic for using the MTA, a 1/2 block minute walk to ...
