“Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Loved being within walking distance of everything in town! We used the car only to go up to Acadia and walked everywhere else. Showers were hot and bed was comfortable. I don’t know if it was the bed or the walking, but it was the best sleep I’ve had in quite awhile. Must be happiness!”

“The house is lovely -old, but nice. Unfortunately the TV in one bedroom did not work and did not get response when inquiring with host. Pet friendly -and listed with “dog park” but doesn’t clarify that the dog park is across the busy road at the motel property. Needed to reach an extension cord under bed and realized it was quite dusty/hair where a quick swifter wipe would have been appreciated. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others…just should be clearer about……

“It was very clean, warm, well fitted, and the bed was hugely comfortable. However, from all the promo hype, we were expecting a room with a view. Our room was 5' from the main street that runs through down town Stonington! I didn't check, but i sure hope the rate reflected this, pull all the shades down, experience. Stoning W”
