“Over all good place”

“I booked one of the floor level ocean front deluxe rooms and it was wonderful. The room was a good size and was very clean. The little kitchenette with a microwave & fridge was very handy. The bathroom was nice and water pressure was fabulous! The room had floor to ceiling windows and a slider to a private sitting area with comfortable chairs for watching the amazing sunsets. There was a large area for our pups, and walking to the private beach was easy. There is a little bit of a hill to walk……

“Reservation for September 26th was made around 10:40 am. Confirmed by Expedia. Motel sends me a email around 2:40 pm telling me I have no reservation but I never see the email because I am traveling. Then I get to Brookings and find out there is no room for me and the only thing the desk clerk says is "we sent you a message". So now I'm stuck without a room on Saturday night in a coastal town at 9 pm with no motel room. That's wrong”

“It was clean, comfortable, and a good value for the price. No one was in the office when I arrived so I had to call the after-hours number, but then someone came to open the office door right away (it was like they were in a room next door). It's pretty much what I expected from a lower-priced roadside motel (nothing really good, nothing really bad). The decor was pretty dated, but it was cleaner than I expected.”

“Clean room, awful bright white lights and the bathroom sink was already clogged. The bed was very uncomfortable.”

“Over price for how run down it was. Shower was dirty the door was broken and the towels smelled off.”

“Comfortable and clean with a beautiful view. Everything we needed to eat in and a list of restaurants if we wanted to go out. Flowers and hummingbirds rounded out a great time. We enjoyed our stay.”

“I came in to town for a quick trip and just needed a place for one night, close to town. The cabins were easy to find and the manager texted me clear and easy directions to follow. The grounds were very clean and there was plenty of parking. The Rogue is right across the street and there was a nice view from the deck oustide of my cabin. There isn't a whole lot of room if you're going to be staying for longer than a day or two and have a lot of luggage but, for me it was perfect. I'd brought……

“If you're looking for a "nice hotel" this is probably not the place for you. If, like me, you're not particular and want something with character, this place is awesome. Most of what I liked was not the room itself. The door to the room was within spitting distance of a small boat harbor where seals like to hang out, and there's a pizza place with a bar right below the rooms. Their pizza is phenomenal. It wasn't anything "Fancy" but it was everything it needed to be and a lot more. ……
