“Traveling with my elderly mother. They recognized the need for a first floor room, and were so accommodating to allow us an extension on our checkout she’s out when she woke up unwell and needed an extra hour in the morning. They were kind and not judgmental, and I greatly appreciated it. The hotel itself is new and very nice accommodations.”

“First of all, the images shown to represent the hotel looked way better than what it looked. The rooms were very dirty. I found a dead spider in my bed. Everything is extremely old. Also i requested for a non-smoking area but there were people smoking. We saw people laying down on the hallways or sleeping in the hallways. There was a pool but I did not feel comfortable letting my kids go in it. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.”

“This is a really cute house in a nice small town. We walked into town and grabbed dinner and did some shopping at the downtown thrift store. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. We had great weather, so we enjoyed exploring through the neighborhood. The house is really quaint and comfortable. The bathroom has the tiniest sink I've ever seen! The kitchen was perfect for what we needed.”

“Great fenced in yard if you are traveling with pet. House is partly renovated but some parts still a bit rough around the edges. However, it’s very clean, beds are comfy and it has everything you need.”

“Everything was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Not having WI-FI was a little bit of a concern because we weren’t able to get calls or texts inside the cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone!”

“Really nice place you can tell it was fairly new. Lots of thought went into it. The only thing that I didn’t care for was the hot tub and pool are not on site. They are down a few miles away and closed for off-season but that is to be expected and with the rain our buildings parking lot was a pond where all the other ones were nice and dry a little bit higher up or more gravel would definitely recommend this stay and stay here again, and we have plans in the future to reserve more cabins. “Everything was great! Place was clean, smelled great with the cedar wall boards. location was awesome being close to so many access points. We looked for a path down the hill to get to the river without driving but didn't see anything. Nothing to do with quality of stay, just if someone wants to know for future visit that driving to the park or any fishing access is a must from here. Owners were incredible to work with, fast responses with details and provided good recommendations for trout...

“The House of Joy was so fun, before we left we were already talking about booking again. Our family went for a wedding. Most of our time was spent in the pool. Unfortunately, the wifi was down (and the electric went out for a little) - not their fault. BUT it made us all put our phones down and enjoy the moment with each other even more! The house was so unique. It was a crazy experience that gave us so much to talk about and even with the wifi down, the 5 kids were NEVER bored. There was 2 dogs...
