Grounds were nicely kept and the Outpost was nice for ice cream in the afternoon. The location was good for not having to travel too far to go hiking or exploring. The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. "The cabin is beautiful and set in a quaint wooded area. The surrounding cabins are just far enough away to not feel crowded, yet also not feel alone. The large deck is awesome and the access to hiking trails is great. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!"
